Good afternoon parents, the following link will take you to the Everyday Math at Home page. On this page, you can click the chapter and print a homework for whichever lesson you may need. This is a helpful link in case your child forgets his/her homework.

Dear sixth-grade students and families,

Welcome to 6th grade and your last year at West Cape May Elementary.  Get ready to make your mark! I hope you are as excited as I am to get this new school year started.  I am thrilled to be your teacher and look forward to a fun and productive year together.

I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Emily Lawrie and I will be your teacher this year. This will be my first year teaching at West Cape May, however, I have many years of teaching experience. I have taught Kindergarten through sixth grade. Most recently, I taught third grade in Millville for three years. Teaching has forever been my heart, and I am passionate about education.  I am very excited to meet you and start an awesome 6th grade school year!

In my classroom, I work hard to promote a learning community.  I strive to build a classroom that encourages risk-taking thinking, respect, trust, and a sense of ownership among students.  I truly understand the enormity of my job and I relish the responsibility and the rewards. I also believe that parents, teacher, and students must work as a team to achieve our highest potential.

Students, I look forward to meeting you on the first day of school, September 4th. Parents and families I also look forward to meeting you at Back to School Night on September 12th.

See you soon!

Sincerely,

Ms. Lawrie
