The number one mission of the West New York Preschool Program is to provide a safe, educational environment for you child.   As a team, we have been working together to build a strong foundation for successful preschoolers throughout the year and that will continue, especially now that we are using a Remote Learning Platform.   During the school closing, please make sure that you are visiting your teacher's websites and communicating with them via email and/ or apps for assistance and updates.  Administrations will also be updating their websites often.

Thank you and remember to be safe!!

Welcome to Another Fabulous School Year !

The West New York School District is committed to providing a comprehensive program for all students.

Students will be taught using flexible small-groups, whole class instruction, and centers.  This will provide all students with a well- balanced program that will meet each child's individual needs. Each of our classrooms has a library filled with leveled books so that each child can learn to love reading.  We also have hands on materials for all academic subjects to help make sure that your child is successful in each academic area.
Each classroom has learning centers ensuring that children are actively engaged while learning new material.
Some children, may also work in a small group setting. These programs have been put into place to ensure that each child will make academic gains and reach their fullest potential, while learning through play.

As a parent, you are one of the most important people in helping your child have a  successful year. You can help your child achieve academic success by working with them at home.  Please read to your child every night, either in English or the language that you are the most comfortable reading in.   You can also make sure that your child comes to school each day prepared to learn.  Ask your child to tell you about their day and read  with them at home. Remember, you were your child's first teacher and you will continue to have a powerful impact on them for the rest of their lives.

The West New York School District is working hard to help all of the children reach their fullest potential.  If there is anything I can do to help you, please feel free to contact me.   Thank you for your support and I look forward to working with you in the future.
