COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
ESL 2 & ESL 5
This year we will be studying a variety of genres that can help us understand ourselves and the world around us. We will focus on developing and strengthening reading, writing, speaking and listening skills through a variety of texts.
ESL Writing 2
Listening, speaking, reading and writing skills will continue to be developed and strengthened throughout the year. Focus will be placed on informal and academic writing and being able to converse in the target language.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS
MAKE-UP WORK
Please be advised students are responsible to make up any assignments and notes missed from any absence not medically excused. Tests are announced in advance. Quizzes may be announced or unannounced. Therefore, if a student is absent during a test/quiz day, the student will make up the missed assessment upon their return.
I am available for students who need extra help with one-day advance notice. Just let me know in person or send an email to schedule an appointment.
Academic Honesty
All students are expected to follow MHS policy concerning cheating and plagiarism. Please refer to the current MHS student handbook for clarification.
Cell Phones & Electronics
Cell phones are not permitted for use during class/instructional time. Please refer to the current MHS student handbook for clarification.
Chromebooks should be fully charged before arriving to school each day.
