Greetings! I am Ms. Ronina Walls, and I am thrilled to serve as the school counselor at IHMS! Go Tigers! In addition to my duties as the school counselor, I currently serve as the Beta Club and Cheer Sponsor. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Services from Southern University (Baton Rouge, La) and a Masters of Education in Counselor Education from SLU (Hammond, La.). I am a Certified School Counselor.
Students are encouraged to visit the counselor's office for any academic, personal, or social concerns they may be facing. I am available before school, during lunch or by appointment to speak with students. Students are not allowed to visit the counseling office between classes without permission.
