Dear parents,
My name is Lauren Clements and I am your child's music teacher! I have graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree in Music Education (K-12). I have always wanted to teach elementary music. My classroom theme is "Oh the Places You'll Go With Music!". I chose this theme because I believe that music can escort people to another country or time without having to leave their homes. Our parish is recently enacting a new elementary music method that encourages teachers to follow a 30-year plan. What the 30-year plan means for your child is that they can dance to a beat, sing to their own children, and have a small appreciation for music when they are 30 years old. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help your child increase their appreciation and skill in music.
