Welcome to SOAR!!  My name is Kelly Martino and I'm excited to be teaching you/your child this year. I believe in a community-style classroom where students can feel safe, accepted, and celebrated.  

I have a bachelor's degree from Rowan University in Elementary Education and Writing Arts as well as a master's degree in Instruction: Teacher of Reading from Wilmington University.  I taught 5th grade in Pennsgrove for 10 years prior to coming to Delsea and have been here at Delsea Middle School for the past 4 years.  I was married in 2016 and had my son Jacob in September of 2017 and he just turned 4 years old.  My daughter, Josephine, was born April 2020.  I also have a lab/pit mix named Miller.  I love spending time with family and friends.  I also have a passion for literacy that I hope to pass along to you/your child throughout this school year.
