I am delighted and very excited to start my 6th school year at Irvington High School's Science department. Prior to this, I have taught at Columbia High School, Barringer Academy of Arts and Humanities, Bryant and Stratton College, and Virginia Commonwealth University. I am Certified to teach Biology in New Jersey. I have completed my Master's in Teaching from Virginia Commonwealth University, and have a Masters in Science (Environmental Botany), Bachelor in Education and Bachelor in Science from Mumbai University, India.
In my early years, I grew up and did my schooling in Mumbai, India. I currently reside in Edison, NJ with my husband, daughter and son. I speak four languages including English. I am passionate about teaching and I love working with young curious minds. I love brownie with hot chocolate fudge topped with vanilla ice cream! I enjoy spending my free time with my family, reading autobiographies, listening to music, trying new recipes and watching HGTV, but playing with my kids tops everything. I enjoy gardening.
