My name is Mariela Reyes-Feliciano, I go by Señora Reyes to make it easy on myself. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have been in the US since 2002. I lived in Virginia, Florida and since 2012 I call Lousiana home. I earned a BA in Education of History for Secondary Grades from the
Interamerican University of P.R. and have obtained Teacher Certifications from FL and PR and now LA. I have a beautiful blended family and live in Denham Springs.
I am passionate about the Spanish Language and Latinamerican Culture. My main goal is to allow my students to see the differences and similarities between the traditions of Lousiana and the Spanish Speaking Countries. I will use games, music, movies or videos to let the students experience and form their own opinion.
