Student will have a weekly quiz grade in Math Skills which will be based on memorizing their multiplication facts, a skill that is strongly needed for their acadamic success in Math.

• Every Friday students will have a quiz on their multiplication facts where they must answer 100 multiplication facts in 6 minutes. It is important that they practice their times tables at home so they can build their multiplication fluency as this is an important skill needed in Math.

• A student needs an 90% to move on the next number 

• If they do not pass, must retake the quiz on that same number the following Friday and will be given 3x each for homework every night Monday-Thursday. The 3 times each is a study tool that will help students learn their multiplication facts.

• Students may be given their quizzes to take home for parents to sign and be informed. 

• When they pass, they move on to the next number.  Students may be on different numbers as each student may progress differently. It is important that they study every night. I would really appreciate your help in this and please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
