Math tutoring after school on Wednesdays from 2:45 to 3:45 in my classroom. Students just show up, don’t need to sign up.
Precalculus and Geometry: Bellringers/Exit tickets paper is 60 points every two weeks, accuracy grade. It should be a good grade, if not, you aren’t doing what you are supposed to be doing in class.
Classwork, homework are participation grades. When the student’s notebook is collected, these grades will be entered.
Quizzes often! Miniquiz on each section. Then either a quiz or test on several sections together. Quizzes will be accuracy grades.
Tests- tests on several sections and 3 unit tests for this semester. These will be major assessments.
Do not submit assignments on Google Classroom. I want everything submitted to me on paper to me. The assignments, pages, problem numbers will be listed on Google Classroom. Textbooks are optional to check out. The pages used from the textbook will be uploaded to Google Classroom and there is a class set of textbooks in the classroom.'
Google classroom codes are on my board, students should be already enrolled in those sections.

Dual Enrollment only (5th hour):
All assignments are on mathxl on the computer. Nothing will get turned on Google Classroom.
Students get guided notes in class that we go over together with many examples.
All homework problems can be done over and over again until the student gets 100%. Anything less than that means the student is not finishing their work, getting behind, etc.
All quizzes can be taken up to 10 times. I would expect every student should be able to get 100% on every quiz. Anything less than that means the student is not taking the quiz enough times or doesn’t understand the material well enough, or is behind on their work.
All assignments have due dates, students must complete assignments in a timely manner to be able to complete them to achieve the 100% grade.
All homework and quiz grades together are about 35% of the total grade.
There are 3 unit tests and a final test. These 4 tests make up the other 65% of the grade. It is imperative that the student practices many times on the practice tests for these tests to hopefully achieve a good grade.
The final exam will be on or before December 1st .
Whatever the final grade the student has in Moodle which is the grades for Southeastern will be there college grade. A grade of A, B, or C is passing and will automatically earn college credit.
There is a $20 mathxl fee that needs to be paid for this class in the online portal.
