Helping families across New Jersey PerformCare is the single point of entry for the New Jersey Children’s System of Care (CSOC).

Help is available for children, adolescents and young adults (up to age 21) seeking behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disability, or certain substance use treatment services. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Families should call if their child’s behavior has changed or if they are overwhelmed by challenges at home or in the community.

Some common reasons to call PerformCare include:

• Depression and/or anxiety.

• Bullying or being bullied.

• Physical or verbal aggression.

• Intellectual/developmental disabilities.

• Inattention or hyperactivity.

• Oppositional or defiant behavior.

• Grief from major trauma.

• Concerns from teachers.
