Lessons:
Small group instrument lessons take place 1-2 days per week for 30 minutes at a time. Information on the book that we use for lessons can be found in the welcome packet above. Students are required to bring their instrument to school on lesson days and to bring them home to practice with on non-lesson days.
The following instruments come with each group. Click on the insturment and it will take you to a amazon link to purchase the book for you will need to be apart of band.:
1)Brass Instruments: Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, French Horn,
2)Woodwind Instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone
3)Percussion Instruments: Snare drum, bass drum, xylophone
4)Piano: Piano (You do not have to bring your own piano to school we have keyboards for you to use here in the music classroom. It would be beneficial to have a piano at home to practice with.) *Unfortunately you cannot rent a piano from Coles music.
Link for piano lesson book can be found here.
5)Guitar: Acoustic, Electric and Bass *Unfortunatley you cannot rent a guitar from coles music. Link for Guitar lesson book can be found here.
Click on links below to take you to the lesson schedule for each instrument.

Practicing:
Please make sure your child is practicing at least 15 minutes a day on his or her instrument. Make sure you sign and have your child turn in their practice logs every week. Those 15 minutes make a huge difference!
