I use ClassDojo to track student behavior. Each day, your child has the opportunity to earn positive & negative points based on his/her behavior. Some of the positive points include Participating in class, Working hard and Helping others to name a few. Points can also be deducted for negative behavior such as being unkind to someone, calling out, and bad behavior at lunch or specials.

 

 

In order to promote positive behavior in the classroom, I have weekly incentives called Fun Friday. If the student is able to obtain an 80% rating by the end of the week, they will be allowed to participate in Fun Friday. If the student receives below 80%, they will not be allowed to participate.

 

Our class will also have monthly incentives to promote positive behavior. The student will have to earn a total number of points in order to participate. For example, in September, the student needs to earn a total of 60 points in order to participate in the incentive.
