Meet the Teacher

 

 

Hi! I am Mrs Bates. I will be your first grade teacher this year. This is my 4th year teaching at Heights Elementary. This year will be my 10th year teaching 1st grade. 

 

I was born and raised on Long Island and moved down to Florida 10 years ago. My husband’s name is Stephen. He is an accountant. I have a son name Zachary who will be 3 years old in November. I have a dog named Riley who is very energetic.

 

When I am not at school, I love to travel with my family and see new and exciting places! I also like to cook and bake new yummy recipes for family and friends.
