Hello! My name is Ms. Tyson and I am teaching English II at Carroll High School for the 2023-2024 school year.  I am a proud mother of a sweet baby girl. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. My late grandmother was a teacher before and after desegregation and hearing her stories of her passion for molding young minds, and hearing how much her students admired and adored her led me to want to make a similar impact as she did.  I attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where I recieved a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in English.  I am currently in school studying to receive a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
