My name is Michele Sorchini and I am currently an ESL teacher at Benedict A. Cucinella School. Previously, I was a literacy instuctor at BAC for many years. Before moving to BAC, I taught in the literacy program for kindergarten for Mt. Olive Township School District for three years. Before that, in what felt like another life, I worked in marketing and one day decided it was time to return to my true passion: TEACHING! In 2015, I made my teaching home at BAC and the Washington Township School District and have enjoyed being here every minute.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my two amazing children, Aric and Zoe. I have instilled a love of reading in them as well so we spend a lot of time at our local library. I also enjoy traveling with my husband, anything outdoors (especially campfires and s'mores!), photography, coffee, and obviously reading.

My philosophy when it comes to teaching (and general child-raising) is that it does take a village. The most successful student is one whose parents and teachers work together to ensure their ultimate success. That being said, I look forward to working with everyone in BAC... teachers, students, and parents! Let us make this year the best one yet!
