Welcome to our 2026-2027 school year! I am Mrs. Kimberly Hendricks, the 6th grade ELA and social studies teacher at Cypress Point University Elementary. This is my 11th year teaching in Monroe City Schools, and I am expecting it will be the best one yet as we Chomp Towards Academic Excellence at Cypress Point.
We will reading several texts this year, including Esperanza Rising, Bud, not Buddy, and Revolution, as well as multiple fiction and no-fiction texts within each unit.
