Dear Parents,

                    I hope that all is well with you and your family. Here are some things that

                   we are doing in the month of March. In Ela we are continuing with the cvc 

                   word family for example . We are working on cvc ending ip. The students 

                   will also be learning about the long u sound in words. A great video of this

                   is " learn to read phonics for kids long u vowels " byAlphablocks.

                   In math the students will countinue to learn addition and what the symbol

                   looks like. They will also be  adding with two numbers with objects and

                   counters in a tens frame as well. A great video of this is "basic addition 

                   for kids" by home school pop. The next subject we will go into is 

                   subtraction. We will look at the symbol and learn the subtraction word is

                   take away. One great video is called "Subtraction for kids/Learn how to

                   subtract " by smile and learn. This video is great as well called " addition

                   and subtraction with dinosuars" by smile and learn. This is what we are 

                    doing.
