Dear Fifth Grade All Star,
I would like to welcome you to 5th grade! I am so excited to be your homeroom teacher. I can't wait meet you in September and get to know you better! As you may already know, you will also have the opportunity to work with other fifth grade teachers this year for various subjects.
Fifth grade will be filled with fun projects, assignments, and trips, as well as many opportunities to grow and learn new things! I will have all the supplies you need in our classroom for the first day of school, but if there are any items that you wish to bring, specifically your own pair of headphones, please feel free to do so! We will go over our schedules and I will answer any questions that you may have on our first day together.
Our first day of school is Thursday, September 7th. Please remember to bring a backpack, waterbottle, and snack. Since the first day of school is a full day, please also remember to bring your lunch if you are not buying lunch.
