United States History I
Welcome to 10th Grade United States History & Government! This class is a one year course that is required for all students in New Jersey. At the conclusion of the course, you will be required to take a marking period assessment covering the whole year. You will then move on to 11th grade, US II. With only a couple of years left in high school it is important that you get serious about your education, try your best, and work hard! Together we will work on your skills and knowledge in history, geography, as well as, studying and organization, all of which are important for your success here at Delsea and in your future endeavors.
During this year we will study for several centuries in a very short time! We will be studying the various political, economic, and social changes that the United States has undergone since its beginning. We will also discuss how the basic ideas of our Constitution were created and how they have been challenged throughout our history. I look forward to working with you this year if you have questions at any point in the year feel free to talk to me before or after class!
