This service delivery model provides additional opportunities for collaboration and consultation among teachers and special education staff to better support your child’s academic progress and overall development. Speech-language specialists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists will provide direct services for three weeks, with the fourth week dedicated to consultation, classroom observations, assessments, therapy planning, interdisciplinary meetings, and/or parent training.
Parents may also arrange meetings with their child’s therapist(s) or, for students in ABA classrooms, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). These sessions can provide guidance, strategies, and resources to help families support their child’s learning and development at home.
