My name is Coach Joe Ryan and I’m a graduate of Denham Springs High School. After graduation from here, I attended and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in Monticello, Arkansas. I attended that university on a football scholarship and I earned my degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.

         

 

After graduation, I accepted a job at Ascension Catholic High School in Donaldsonville, Louisiana where I spent three years teaching World Geography, American History, and Civics. At Ascension Catholic, I was an assistant football coach, head of strength and conditioning, and the head powerlifting coach.

 

 

Here at Denham Springs, I will also be an assistant football coach, assistant to the strength and conditioning program, and head boys & girls powerlifting.
