 WE ARE PANTHERS!

Persevering

Learning can be hard.  Being a student can be hard.

But, even when we face challenges, Panthers stick with it, they work hard, they get help when needed, and they persevere.

Adaptable

Things don’t always go as we want.

But, even when things aren’t going our way, Panthers are adaptable, they solve problems,  and they overcome obstacles.

Nurturing

It takes a village, and Panthers realize they don’t have to go it alone - there are many people here to help, and they support one another, nurturing success!

Team Playing

Many hands make light work.  Working together, as team players contributing to the whole, everyone can enjoy success!

Hard-Working

When Panthers come to school, they come to do their best work!  Hard Working students are poised for success!

Empathetic

Panthers have the ability to understand what someone else is feeling, or what it’s like to be in their situation.

Panthers are empathetic, and they care about one another!

Respectful

Panthers show respect for the school, and for one another.

Showing respect earns respect!

Students

Panthers know school is a place for learning.

Panthers are scholarly, and they take their jobs as students seriously.

Who will WIN this years:

HOUSE WARS

This year we are going to have a school wide competition that we are calling HOUSE WARS!

Your homerooms will be working together to earn Spirit points for your House!

What are spirit points? And how do you earn them?

Spirit Points are earned by student and staff participation in our Spirit Days. Peer leaders will come around to your homerooms on spirit days to tally up the number of participants in each house. Winners will be announced after each spirit day and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place houses will receive SPIRIT POINTS.

CHECK OUT THE BULLETIN BOARD across from RM 32 For current Spirit Point TOTALS!

The Long Valley Middle School Counseling Program promotes a positive school climate and supports student success through a developmental child-centered approach.

Our mission as school counselors is to provide a comprehensive guidance program that will assist all students in acquiring the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to be successful students, responsible and productive citizens, and become lifelong learners.  The program provides an atmosphere in which the dignity, culture, and social/emotional needs of every student are valued and one in which mutual respect and individuality are practiced.
