Tips to be successful this year:
1. Pre-read the chapter or section BEFORE coming to class. (This is part of being prepared.)
2. Read the chapter objectives and end of section questions BEFORE you begin to read the chapter or section.
3. Do not write definitions to vocabulary that you don't understand. See me for help.
3. Look over the study guide/outline EVERYDAY. Use the study guide daily to test yourself on what you were taught that day.
4. Continue to use it to refresh material your were taught a few days ago.
5. Biology is like a new language for most. Spend time learning prefixes and suffixes; this will help you understand the material.
