PEANUT-FREE CLASSROOM: When sending in snacks with your child, please make sure they do not contain large amounts of peanut butter. Small amounts of peanut butter or peanuts within a snack are fine, such as granola bars. Please refrain from sending in trail mix, peanut butter crackers, containers of peanut butter, etc. We need to protect those with nut allergies. Thanks!

For the safety of our students, please:
- refrain from posting pictures from school events on social media of children other than your own.
-utilize the car line for student drop-off during arrival time each day. If you need to walk your child to class, please sign in and out with the front office. We cannot allow student drop off at the crosswalk or outside the front doors of the school.
-Should you need to schedule a conference, please let me know and I will be happy to set up a time to speak with you.

Upon entering the school at any time of day, please stop by the front office to sign in and receive a visitor’s sticker. If you have any questions regarding sign-in procedures at BHES, please contact the front office staff. They will be happy to help you.
In order to maintain student safety, please refrain from dropping children off at the crosswalk or front doors upon arrival at school. Please utilize the car line for drop off or sign in with the front office to walk your child to class. We appreciate your support of our school!
For the safety of all students, out of respect for those with dietary restrictions as well as family dietary choices, and in order to better preserve instructional time, we will no longer allow birthday treats to be distributed during lunch in the cafeteria beginning August 4, 2014. If you choose to send in snacks of any kind for your child’s birthday, please send them to school with your child in the morning or drop them off in the front office. The teacher will distribute the snacks to the class.

Car Rider Safety: Please put your car in park when stopped in the car rider line to keep our children and teachers safe.
*Please remember to send a healthy snack in with your child to be eaten each morning.
*Sign your child's agenda each day. Your signature indicates that you have seen his/her behavior number and completed homework. Also, remember to record the title of books and amount of time that your child spent reading.

-No student sign-outs after 2:00.
-No e-mails for transportation changes.
-Transportation changes need to be called/faxed into the office prior to 12:00.
-There will be a $12 fee per returned check.
