Blue-Outstanding Behavior (students can move up to blue if they receive a bulldog ticket or demonstrated excellent behavior)

Green-Great Day Woohoo!!! We want green every day! Greens all week receive a trip to the TREASURE BOX!

Yellow- A Warning & Reminder of appropriate behavior is given (think chair)

Red- A logical consequence is given/discussed with the student

Pink- A Pink Slip is given. The teacher will notify parents with either a note or a phone call home. A pink slip can be issued by any adult on campus at any time of the day!

***Please initial/check your child's behavior chart daily***

Logical Consequences-

Abuse it, Lose it----- temporary loss of privileges, materials, activities

You break it, you fix it----if you broke a friend's blue crayon... you will go get them another one

Incomplete Work---- Finish the work at another time during the day

Talking during instruction time----Separation from the group (think chair)

Disrespectful Behavior---- Separation from the group (think chair)

What is the think chair exactly?

The Think chair is a positive warning/reminder seat where students will be taught how to reflect and think about the appropriate/expected behavior. A student is sent to the "think chair" by the teacher if he or she needs to have a change in their current behavior. In the think chair, the student will find his or her self-control on their own before it gets out of hand. Each and every student will be taught that the think chair is not a "bad thing" it's a great way to regain self-control on their own (self-regulation!!!).
