Supplies:

Your child will need the following supplies:  

• a 3 subject notebook
• one composition notebook
• sharpened number 2 pencils with erasers
• markers
• colored pencils
• 2 glue sticks
• a pencil box (one that shuts securely and easily fits inside the desk)
• scissors

In addition, your child will need a small container with a secure top (such as a Gladware container) with 20 pennies, 5 nickels, 10 dimes, and 8 quarters.  These coins will be used for math and will need to be left in school for the duration of the school year.   Please send the coins in immediately, as we will be using them during the first week.  Optional items:  pencil sharpener, tissues for the classroom.  Please label all items with your child’s name.

 

Lunch:

If your child is buying lunch or milk and does not have an account with the cafeteria, please send the money in an envelope or wallet with your child’s name labeled on it.

 

Snack:

We will have a snack break every morning.  Please send a nutritious snack (fruit, vegetables, yogurt, cereal, cheese, crackers, etc.) for your child to eat at this time.  Snacks containing peanuts or tree nuts are not permitted in the classroom.

 

Birthdays:

We are happy to celebrate birthdays in school.  Due to the many allergies and food sensitivities, we request non-food/candy treats such as pencils, erasers, etc.
