My name is Mrs. Paulette Roberts-Comanche and I have the pleasure and opportunity to educate your child for the 2023-2024 school year! This is my 9th year here as a teacher at Thomas Jefferson Upper Elementary. There are lots of new things to be learned and new friends to be made!
My goal for this year is to help your child to be an independent and responsible learner, as well as to show him or her how to make responsible choices. To accomplish this goal, there will be some homework and we will be making the most of our class time. My expectations for the students this year will be high. They will need to work hard and do their very best.
Please, read over any materials that will be sent home throughout the year with your child. These materials will outline the school/district policies and answer any questions you may have about the school year. Be sure you discuss all materials with your child. I am glad you are all here and cannot wait to get started.
