ABOUT ME
Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Jason Molden and I am a music educator my fifth year with the Bristol Borough School District. I teach music to grades 3-12 with a focus on instrumental music.
Hobbies
My hobbies include playing ice hockey, fantasy football, exploring new technologies, photography, making movies with my GoPro, and audio recording.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
(2014-present) Director of Instrumental Music, Bristol Borough School District. Bristol, PA. Responsibilities included all instrumental music lessons to students in grades 3-12. Director of all instrumental performing ensembles: concert band, jazz band, and marching band.
(2012-2014) Music Technology Lab Assistant, School of Music, Bucks County Community College. Newtown, PA.
Responsibilities include maintaining all software and hardware included in the 16 station music technology lab. Hardware includes Apple iMac computers, 16 channel Mackie mixing board, Korg 49 key keyboards, and a variety of microphones. Software includes Adobe Suite, ProTools 10, Finale 2012, Final Cut Pro. Providing assistance to students and faculty members on hardware and software located in the lab and recording, editing, and archiving all music department performances.

Responsibilities included management and distribution of instruments owned by the music department. Facilitating a music education technology lab, assisting students and faculty members with the hardware and software within the lab. Hardware included: 15 Apple iMac computers, MAudio Axiom keyboards. Software included: Adobe Suite, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Finale, Max/MSP.
(2009-2011) Director of Instrumental Music, Bristol Borough School District. Bristol, PA. Responsibilities included all instrumental music lessons to students in grades 4-12. Director of all instrumental performing ensembles: concert band, jazz band, and marching band. High School concert band was beginning to become a competitive band competing in the High Note Festival and receiving a rating of Excellent at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA, and the Banddirector.com’s online concert band competition receiving an Honorable Mention and Outstanding Achievement Award, adjudicated by Colonel Hal Gibson. Doubled student enrollment and participation in the elementary band through recruitment concerts and presentations.

Responsibilities included daily voice classes as well as directing a 150 member choir.

Responsibilities included instrumental lessons for grades 5-6 at both schools as well as directing the elementary band at Lincoln Elementary.
