Welcome to Journalism!

 

 

In this class, we have students in Journalism I, II, & III.

 

If you are in J-I (Journalism I), you may ask J-II, or J-III students for information or help - they have completed J-I and know what's going on.

 

As a student in these courses, you will complete assignments from our textbook Inside Reporting (which is located online for each convienence, but we have softcovers in the classroom). Some assignments from the online workbooks will need to be printed or completed in Kami and are attached in the assignments tab in Google Classroom. 

 

Please note -the textbooks are not to leave the classroom. 

 

Each chapter contains accompanying quizzes (3: Grammar, T/F, & M/C) and various exercises for you to demonstrate skill mastery. You will learn to and are responsible for writing stories for the school newspaper, The Paulsentinel and Community newsletter, The Panorama. These stories will be published in each edition. We will cover all of this in the first couple of class meetings, so if you have questions, please ask!

Your FIRST priority is to your academic classes always and although this class is an elective, you are also responsible for the work so budget your time wisely. If you are having trouble keeping up, please let me know.
