PERSISTENCE

 

During the month of October to support our value of the month some of the books we will be reading are:

A Chair for my mother

The Carrot Seed

How to catch a Star...etc.

 

Throughout the characters in these books the message of persistence will become clear to the children. 

This is a fun way to reinforce our value of the month.  To read and discuss the message and to come up

with situations when we need to be persistence in order to reach our goal.

 

We will be playing games that encourage "teamwork" and reinforce encouraging each other.

 

Cooperative games are different than competitive games!

That is the message we will focus on!
