The Mission of JROTC

The mission of JROTC is to motivate young people to become better citizens.  JROTC teaches its cadets how to become effective leaders, act responsibly, and provide beneficial services to the community.  JROTC also teaches teamwork and self-discipline, while cadets gain an increased feeling of self-confidence and self-esteem.  Students get a sense of self-confidence and self-esteem by being put into many leadership positions within the ranks of the program.  JROTC benefits the student, school, community, and nation in a great number of ways.
