The ASI (Academic Support Instruction) reading program is supplemental instruction in addition to the reading support given in the general education setting.

As an ASI teacher, I provide supplemental support to students in reading and language arts where instruction is given in a small group setting. This is my 24th year teaching in Sayreville. I started as a special education teacher and after receiving certification became a reading specialist and have been in this position for 13 years. It is enjoyable for me to work with students to help them meet their academic potential.
