Welcome to Sixth Grade Language Arts
I'm Mr. Brown, and I teach 6th Grade Language Arts at Sayreville Middle School, in room C-18. This site is where I keep the things students and families ask for most.
Two things worth knowing:
1. Your child will use two online programs this year, StudySync and Achieve3000. Both are reached through Clever, and both work from home as well as at school.
2. Every student also keeps a notebook and a Reader Response Journal — two notebooks, all year long. The Reader Response Journal holds their thinking about everything we read, and it is the best window you have into how your child is doing in this class. Ask to see it.
