Hello! My name is Mr. Justin Fiscina and I am so thrilled to be your child's 4th Grade teacher this year!

 This will be my fifth year teaching fourth grade; however, I have been a part of the Emma Havens Young community for a total of twelve years as I have also taught Kindergarten and 2nd Grade.

I am a graduate of Kean University where I double majored in K-6 Elementary Education and Social Studies and I also have a Masters degree in Educational Leadership

 

My philosophy is to create a classroom that is a positive and supportive environment where all students can learn from one another and feel safe and confident when sharing their thoughts and ideas.  My goal is also to create standards for each child that are challenging, yet achievable.  

 

 I am very excited for our adventure together to begin!
