=Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year at Augusta Preschool Academy. I am your child's teacher, Ms. Parker. This is my sixth year teaching and my 10th year here at Augusta. I love this school and the children that walk through these doors ready to begin a new world of learning . Ms.Whyte the other teacher in the classroom is now entering her second year here in 105 and is excited to embark on this new year with me. Together we strive to make your child's day as fun and educational as possible.
Some things to go over to make sure that our classroom runs as smoothly as possible. Please make sure that your child has their name labeled on everything that comes into our classroom. All snack boxes, all clothes, all blankets, backpacks, etc. EVERYTHING! This way there is no confusion as to whose belongings go with which child. Please have ample clothing for your child as a backup. Plenty of extra socks, underwear, pants and shirts. Please make sure that all extra clothing is seasonal! If you need a look in the classroom to make sure, just let me or Ms. Wilson know. Please check your child's backpack if there was an accident .... but please do not worry! Accidents happen! When we have snack time in our classroom in the afternoon, please bring in a healthy snack to eat. Pretzels, yogurt, animal crackers, etc. Making sure that the name is clearly printed on the baggie or snack bag.
We may not have the chance to meet inside the building this year, but I look forward to building lasting relationships with all of you virtually. be make sure to log in daily and watch the videos either live or pre-recorded and do the question of the day and small group assignments. Together we can discover and embark on a new distant learning journey.
