 Welcome to Room 6

 

HAPPY MAY!!!!!!!!!!  

 

 

This month our classroom theme is KINDERGARTEN/ELEMENTARY SCHOOL so we will be busy converting our dramatic play center into a Kindergarten classroom for the children to learn and play.  The children will learn about roles and actions that take place in the Elementary school to learn problem solving through their role play. We will also be learning about butterflies since we are awaiting for the arrival of our caterpillar friends.  They will also continue working on literacy, social studies and math concepts, and expect some homework practice to start going home to get them used to Kindergarten work. 

 

Our Family Project this month is to ask your child what kindergarten means to them?  Please look for directions in their folder to put a picture together of their favorite things. Our family projects are given so you enjoy your time together.
