Course Descriptions:

 

Cyber Literacy is a hands-on curriculum that builds a strong cyber foundation for high school students. The course introduces students to cyber by blending robotics, programming, electricity, and elements of liberal arts. Students will learn about the opportunities, threats, responsibilities, and legal constraints associated with operating in cyberspace. Throughout the course, students learn the basics of electricity, programming, and networking as well as develop critical thinking skills. Cyber Literacy lays a foundation for further exploration into STEM and Cyber related topics. This course is challenging, the aim is not to fail students but to challenge them to find solutions and develop the components needed to have effective teamwork.

 

Biology/Environmental Science is a designed to prepare students for standardized Tests as well as introduce elementary concepts in the Live Sciences. These course introduce students to various Biological and Environmental theories and blend the introduction of skills needed to Master concepts on Standardized Tests. 

 

Google Classroom Interface

These Classes are almost fully intergrated into Google Classrooms

To complete a majority of the work students must have access to the Internet.

Some assignments may be completed on their phones if they have internet Capabilties.

Seniors your supplemental work consist of a "Meter Reading Project" That can be found on Google Classrooms.

Record Your Values in the Document Found in the Assignment Folder. This is lengthy Project.

Powerpoint Lecture is in the document folder.

Please Start as soon as possible and Submit before May 15, 2020.

The success of your child depends on a lot of factors, the most important being the relationship between the student, the teacher, and the parent. If your child is having trouble with this class, we should discuss this immediately.  If we wait until the end of the 9 weeks or semester, it will be TOO LATE.  Please give me time to help, I am available to help you understand so that we all can be successful.
