 Mrs. Caruso's Welcome Letter

Dear Kindergartener,

Hello and welcome to Mrs. Caruso’s Kindergarten Class!

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to officially introduce myself as your fabulous and fun kindergarten teacher this year.

Guess what?! You are extra lucky this year because you will have TWO teachers! Mrs. Tavoletti will also be teaching in our classroom, and I am so excited for you to get to know her. Together, we will work as a team to make our classroom a happy, welcoming, and exciting place to learn. We can't wait to share all of our kindergarten adventures with you!

This summer, I spent many hot summer days relaxing by my pool or on the beach soaking up some sun while reading a favorite book. When I am not at Toll Gate I love spending time with my husband, daughter (Gabriella), son (Jackson) and my dog, Mae. I also enjoy playing golf and cheering on my favorite Philadelphia sports teams.

We are also very excited to welcome a Rider University student teacher to our classroom this fall! Her name is Miss Grimm, and she will be joining our class on September 1st. We are thrilled to have her become a part of our classroom community, and I know you will all have a wonderful time getting to know her! She will be learning, teaching, and sharing in many of our kindergarten adventures throughout the semester. We are so lucky to have her joining us!

We are going to learn so much together this year! I can’t wait to teach you all about our classroom community. I hope to see you at our Kindergarten Orientation and Open House on August 25th. There you will get to learn a little bit more about me and our classroom.

Please check out my Meet the Teacher to learn even more exciting things about me! I would also love to learn more about you!  Feel free to send  a quick video or letter introducing yourself to me at [email protected].

We are going to have so much fun this year.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

See you soon!

Your Teacher,

Mrs. Caruso
