Dear Second Grader,

 

 

 

   Welcome to your second grade school year! We are excited to have you as our student and to start this new adventure with you.  We can't wait to watch you learn and grow!  You are extra lucky, because you will have two teachers this year. This year, we will be in room 134. This was the classroom many of you had Mrs. Cole in first grade.  

 

   We hope you have had a fun-filled and adventurous summer. We sure did! Both of us love to travel and spend time doing things outisde. Mrs. Cole spent most of her summer working on her family horse farm. Mrs. Cole visted the beach and did a lot of local day trips with her husband and children,  Gavin and Rowan.  Mrs. Hallock spent her summer doing some similar adventures.  Mrs. Hallock and her husband have two children, a daughter Payton and son Patrick. Mrs. Hallock recently took a trip to North Carolina.  Both of us love sports, reading, and animals.  We have taught second grade together several times and are excited to be back working together. We promise to make learning fun!

 

   Boys and Girls we can't wait to get to know you better and to hear all about the fun things you did over the summer. Our emails are [email protected] and [email protected]  Feel free to send us a picture of a favorite summer memory. 

 

   On the first day, please bring yourself, a smile, and a snack. If you are able, please bring a pair of easily identifiable headphones.   The headphones will be kept in school to use with your chromebook. The store, "Five Below" has some inexpesive options.
