Welcome to Second Grade!
Dear Second Grader,
Welcome to our 2F class community! I am excited to have you as my student and we are going to have a wonderful year together! This school year will be my 19th year teaching, 18th at Stony Brook, and 15th year in 2nd grade.
I hope you had a fantastic summer! I love to travel and went on three trips this summer; Roanoke, Virginia, California to visit Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks, and Maine. I have now visited 29/63 national parks.
Some activities I enjoy are running, hiking, traveling, exploring new places, spending time outside and with family and friends. I want to learn about you and how you spent your summer. Please complete the All About Me.pdf and bring it to school on the first day. If you are unable to print it, I will have extra copies on the first day.

*Please see the supply list below and thank you in advance for purchasing and bringing your school supplies on Tuesday, September 1st (the first day of school). It is also helpful to write your name on any of your school supplies with permanent marker.
