Dear First Grader,

 

 

 

   Welcome to first grade! We are excited to have you as our student. You are extra lucky, because you will have two teachers this year. You probably saw us walking through the halls with our second grade collaborative class last year. This year, we will be in the same classroom, room 134. We are taking on the new adventure of first grade.

 

   We hope you have had a fun-filled and adventurous summer. We sure did! Both of us love to travel and spend time with family. Mrs. Cole spent most of her summer working on her family horse farm. She went on a trip out west to see the National parks. Mrs. Cole also visited the beach with her husband and children, Gavin and Rowan. Mrs. Sands spent her summer with her baby girl, Payton. She took trips to Virginia Beach and the Pocono Mountains. She enjoyed lots of family hikes and good books! 

 

 

 

   Boys and Girls we can't wait to get to know you better and to hear all about the fun things you did over the summer. Feel free to bring in a souvenir or photo from your summer break.
