Welcome to 4th Grade

Hi 4th Graders!

I'm so excited to be your 4th grade teacher this year! It’s going to be a great year filled with lots of fun and learning!

You may have heard that I’m going to have a baby pretty soon! Mr. Clark and I are expecting our first baby in October. That means that you will start the year with Mrs. Rorick, but I’ll be around for a little while in the beginning of the year to meet you before I go on maternity leave. You can learn a little bit more about Mrs. Rorick hereThis link will send you to a document to learn a little more about me!

This year, you will also be switching classes! In the morning, you will have me/Mrs. Rorick for Homeroom and Language Arts. In the afternoon, you will switch to a different classroom and have Ms. McLane as your Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher. You can check out our full schedule including specials in the link below. It will take some getting used to, but I think you’ll really like switching rooms and practicing some of the responsibilities that come with getting older!

Your school supplies will be ready for you in our classroom on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 3rd. You will just need to bring a pair of inexpensive headphones (labeled with your name) to keep at school. If you have other special supplies you want to use (pencil case, folders, etc.) you are always welcome to bring those too! Also, don't forget a quick, healthy snack for the morning and a reusable water bottle each day.

You should also know that Ms. McLane and I will both have classrooms in the 5th grade hallway this year! You can find me in the last classroom on the right (room 102) and Ms. McLane is right next to me in room 104. Feel free to stop by and say hi at the BT Open House on Thursday, August 29th at 2:30. Otherwise, I'll see you on the first day of school! I have a LOT of books that I'm excited to share with you!

I hope you enjoy your last few days of summer! I can't wait to meet you!. Please email me at [email protected] or [email protected]  if you have any questions or just want to say hi.

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and I’ll see you really soon!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Clark
