Dear First Graders,

     I hope you are as excited as I am about the start of school this year!  First Grade is such an amazing year filled with many chances to learn new things, and I can’t wait to get started! This summer I have been busy planning many fun activities and am excited to share them with you!  

     I have all of the school supplies you will need for 1st grade, so should not bring any school supplies on the first day.  

 

This is all you will need to bring in your backpack on the first day of school:

• A picture of your family that we can display on our class bulletin board

• A healthy snack, in a small separate bag that can fit in your desk

• Lunch (or you can order a lunch from the school)

• Wire headphones for the chromebook (no wireless headphones)

• A reusuable water bottle clearly labeled with your first and last name

     

     I am really looking forward to meeting you!  There is no Meet the Teacher this summer, but you can stop by to visit classroom on August 26th at 4:00PM. Our classroom is B3. And I will see you on the first day of 1st grade, which is Tuesday, 9/2/25. This is going to be a fantastic year. Enjoy your last weeks of summer. I will see you very soon.
