Hi! My name is Katie Cugliotta and I am the 7th social studies teacher on the white team. You can find me with a camera or behind a computer editing and taking pictures for the Yearbook or making crafts with the Arts and Crafts Club. I am also involved with the planning of Spirit Week and the One Book One School Committee.
I grew up in Medford, NJ and attended high school at Merion Mercy Academy in Merion Station, PA. While in high school, I was a part of the musical theater, newspaper, history club, and national honor society. I studied history and secondary education at the The College of New Jersey. While at TCNJ, I was involved in Student Government and a member of Sigma Kappa sorority. During my time in college, I was fortunate to have student teaching experiences at Hillsborough High School, Crockett Middle School (Hamilton, NJ), Ewing Middle School, and Grover Middle School. Upon graduating in 2013, I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th Social Studies at Sacred Heart School in Camden.
When I am not brushing up on my world history or prepping for school, you can find me at the beach or curled up with a good book. I love to travel and spending time with my family and friends. Family is one of the most important things in my life. I understand the importance of family being involved in education and I encourage your family to join in our exciting year!
