Welcome to English as a Second Language!
All ESL classes will be held in room 10.
My name is Lakisha Zamot-Giro and I have been a teacher in Hillside since 1997. I am a graduate of Rutgers University where I majored in History, while working on my teacher certification in social studies. I later graduated from New Jersey City University with a Masters in Administration and Supervision in 2006. I later earned my ESL certification from Rowan University.
Reminder: Students should bring the following materials to every ESL Class:
- Pen/Pencils
- Planner
- Homework
- ESL Folder
Extra Help is available Wednesdays and Thursdays after school-students must ask for a pass beforehand if they wish to attend.
