Hillside High School Jazz Band
The Hillside High School Jazz Band, also known as the Liberty Avenue Jazz Band, is a performance group that plays medium to advanced music ranging from Jazz standards to modern popular music. The band plays for the school concerts as well as at different venues. Participation in Concert Band is a requirement to join. The group meets from 3-4:30 every Tuesday.
Hillside High School Marching Comets
The Hillside High School Marching Band, aka the Marching Comets, is a performance group dedicated to supporting the HHS athletic program as a pep band. The band also practices repertoire to be performed on field and in parades in exhibition and competition. The group practices from 3 - 4:30 every Wednesday, and football games are on either Fridays or Saturdays in September - November.
