Welcome to Mrs. Loizou's 3rd Grade Class. I have been teaching for 25 years. I grew up in New York surrounded by great neighborhoods where kids played outside and the world was a lot simpler. As a kid in school, I always loved reading and writing. One of my favorite books to read was The Hobbit by J.R. Tolkien. I enjoyed it so much I ended up reading the whole series. The Lord of the Rings movies were based on it. During my last year in high school, my health class took a class trip to a nursery school. After that I was hooked. That's when I decided I wanted to become a teacher. 

After all those years I still enjoy the world of teaching and helping children to realize that they can accomplish their dream. But dreams don't always come easy, sometimes we have to work hard for them to become a reality as I did to become a teacher. I am always available at school for a conference or for extra help. Please do not hesitate if you need either. I am available daily from 8:15- 8:30 am or 3:05 - 3:20 pm in Room 208 on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. The school phone # is 908-352-7664.  I give 4-5 days of notice for a test, and a day for a quiz.Please check your childs'planner for teacher comments or H.W. and or the website for H.W..
