All About Me

   Hello! My name is Tamla Chambless and I’ve been teaching for ten years.  My undergraduate degree was a BS in Printing Management in Technology.  After working in the field of Integrated Store Development and Printing for approximately five and a half years, I started my career as an educator. During the last two and a half years of my printing career, I attended Mercer University and received my Early Childhood Teaching Certificate. Following my first year of teaching, I enrolled in University of Phoenix and pursued my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I knew this would not be the end of my education journey.  Two years later I enrolled into the PhD. Program at Capella University. Once I earned my Education Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction, I took time off from pursuing my personal goals to apply and implement strategies I’ve learned.  

   When I am not working on my degree or teaching, I am spending time with my husband and my three children, ages ranging from four to eight. We love arts and crafts, swimming, nature walks and watching good movies. In my spare time I enjoy playing games on my iPad and reading mystery-suspense books.
