Welcome to Spanish 1, My name is Marina Martin and it is my goal to have you conversing in another language. I have been teaching second languages for over 10 years. I was a co-writer of the most prominent esl program in Brasil. I use all current best practices for language acquisition, focusing on all 4 of the micro skills: speaking, listing, writing and reading. I use CI (comprehensive input) a proven method to acquire a new language. Class participation is one of the most important aspects to acquire another language. We will be using duolingo as homework to supplement vocabulary, parents will be required to sign a consent form to use this free program/app.
